Job Summary
Mammographer Technologist responsible for producing screening and diagnostic mammograms, preparing patients, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety, and ensuring QA/QC and MQSA/ACR/state regulatory compliance. Maintains equipment and performs preventive maintenance, conducts QA testing, assists Radiologist with QA/QC reporting, and handles data entry and required documentation. Requires ARRT Mammographer Certification, state licensure, and a valid driver’s license; part-time, PRN hours with flexible schedules and potential overtime. Emphasis on patient confidentiality, safety standards, independent work, and coordination with MQSA/ACR guidelines.
