Job Summary
Mammographer Radiology Physician needed for locum tenens coverage at a hospital in Spring, TX. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7a–4p for 1–2 weeks per month with ongoing needs. Must be board certified and MQSA-certified. Procedures include high-volume mammography with inpatient imaging, plus ultrasound, MRI, Dexa, biopsies, and breast imaging to support diagnostic and screening workloads (65 screenings, 18 diagnostics, 22 ultrasounds, 4 biopsies, 20 Dexa, 0–5 breast MRIs at this site). Credentialing timeframe is up to 60 days. AMN Healthcare facilitates malpractice insurance, travel, lodging, and transportation. The role is hospital-based, with emphasis on breast imaging and Mammography quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified radiologist with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) certification
- Mammography and breast imaging specialty
- Ability to perform screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and biopsies as part of breast imaging services
- Hospital-based practice
- Locum tenens - temporary staffing arrangement
- Credentialing timeframe up to 60 days
- Work schedule Monday-Friday 7a-4p; 1-2 weeks per month
