Job Summary
Operate mammography equipment and perform mammography exams under supervision, document patient history and imaging data in HIS/RIS/PACS, adhere to department policies and safety protocols, assist in other modalities as needed, maintain equipment and participate in quality control, and meet continued education requirements. Requires ARRT registration in Diagnostic Radiology and Mammography, MA mammography licensure, and BLS prior to probation completion; Schedule Monday–Friday with day shifts, per diem/part-time hours in a 8-hour shift; candidate should have an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology and relevant experience in mammography; environment emphasizes standards of respect and equal opportunity.
Required Qualifications
- Registration in Diagnostic Radiology and Mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Licensed by the State of Massachusetts as a mammography technologist
- BLS healthcare provider certification before end of 90-day probation
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent knowledge)
- Prior experience in Mammography preferred
