Job Summary
Operate mammography equipment, position patients, and select technical parameters while developing and evaluating images for quality. Explain procedures and educate patients on preventive breast health. Follow radiation safety guidelines, ensure prompt PACS submission of correctly marked images, and maintain equipment functionality. Keep the department clean and orderly. Work in a constant state of alertness. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Radiology Technology program
- ARRT-R credential
- ARRT-M Mammography credential
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Radiologic Technologists - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA)
- Radiographer, Licensed - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT in Mammography within 12 months of hire
