Job Summary
Provide health care services by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis and performing medical imaging techniques to demonstrate breast anatomy for interpretation or intervention. Assist licensed practitioners with invasive procedures while applying appropriate patient care and recognizing conditions essential for successful completion. Support the Grand Rapids Betty Ford Breast Care team at two diagnostic sites and nine screening locations using Hologic's Dimensions units and 3D Automated Whole Breast Ultrasound Tomography for patients with dense breast tissue.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
- 2 years of relevant experience mammography
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire
- CRT-Mammography (M) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
- Comply with the MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement
