Mammo Tech, PRN, Variable Shifts

Obtain optimum quality breast images for radiologist interpretation while performing screening mammograms and diagnostic breast imaging studies. Assist radiologist during stereotactic and ultrasound guided biopsies. Assess patients through review of previous studies and history to determine screening versus diagnostic patients. Provide radiation protection in accordance with proper standards as set by State and Federal boards. Covers other functions in the department as deemed necessary. Stay abreast of organizational, affiliate and departmental changes/updates by checking email on each shift. Maintain SCRQSA certification, BLS, ARRT-Radiology, and ARRT-Mammo. Variable shifts at Hillcrest/Simpsonville Medical Campus.
