Job Summary
Conduct specialized breast examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and other devices as appropriate. Maintain ARRT and ARDMS certifications in radiography and mammography upon hire, along with BCLS. No experience required, though one year as a Mammography Technologist is preferred. Schedule flexibility is available for this PRN role at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
- 1 year experience as a Mammography Technologist Preferred
- (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (R) - ARRT Upon Hire
- (M) ARDMS or ARRT - Mammography Mammography (M) - ARRT Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
