Job Summary
Operates radiologic equipment to produce clinical radiographs for diagnostic purposes as needed. Performs radiographic examinations of the breast under the direction of a Radiologist. Requires a relevant Associate's degree, active state licensure, and ARRT registration or eligibility. Certification in mammography is required within one year of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
- Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT
- Certification in mammography within one year of hire
Desired Qualifications
- One to three years of experience as an RT preferred
- Mammography experience preferred
- BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire
