Job Summary
Conduct specialized breast examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and other devices as appropriate. Maintain current ARRT and ARDMS certification in radiography and mammography, along with Basic Life Support certification. Complete one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist if available. Work at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
- 1 year experience as a Mammography Technologist Preferred
- (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (R) - ARRT Upon Hire
- (M) ARDMS or ARRT - Mammography Mammography (M) - ARRT Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
