Job Summary
Perform specialized breast examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and other devices as appropriate. Demonstrate ability to perform advanced procedures including stereotactic and MRI biopsies while maintaining competence in sterile procedures. Provide complex technical care to meet identified patient needs. Requires an AMA approved Radiologic Technology degree, two years of Mammography Technologist experience, and ARDMS or ARRT credentials upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
- 2 years experience as a Mammography Technologist
- (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography
- (M) ARDMS or ARRT - Mammography Mammography
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
