Job Summary
Perform accurate and efficient mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment under the site designate leader, demonstrating good clinical skills to provide the best possible images for interpretation. Adhere to established policies and procedures, applying independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative while following Corewell Health's philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care. This part-time position involves variable hours, weekends, and on-call rotation at the Royal Oak Hospital site.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program
- Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Additional Mammography (ARRT)(M) certification required within 1 year of hire
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association and/or the American Red Cross
- 1-3 Years' experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must comply with MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement
