Job Summary
Provide in-person interpretation at client sites for Mam-speaking minors and Care Staff, facilitating accurate communication between minors and staff; translate/interpret between English and Mam; maintain confidentiality and ethical standards; support orientation to community resources; assist staff with cultural context; may support via telephone or videoconference and may require 24/7 availability; requires ILR 2+ proficiency in English and Mam, and a valid driver’s license; work across various U.S. client sites in a temporary, full-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Must have working proficiency (ILR 2+) in English and the Mam language
- Valid driver's license
- This position is open only to individuals authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Prior experience in foster care or medical care situations is preferred
