Job Summary
Assist with personal care and daily living activities, provide companionship and emotional support, manage light housekeeping and errands, and prepare meals and snacks. Remind clients of medication schedules while maintaining a professional, respectful appearance. This role requires at least one year of paid caregiving experience, a valid California driver's license, and an active Home Care Aide number. Candidates must pass DOJ and FBI background checks and provide a negative TB test or clear chest X-ray. Flexible schedules are available with bi-weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and ongoing paid training.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of paid professional caregiving experience
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) number
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass DOJ & FBI background check
- Negative TB test or clear chest X-ray
- Basic computer skills
- California HCA registration (or willingness to obtain)
- 1+ year caregiving experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Background check & TB clearance required
