Male Field Laboratory Representative (FLR)

Job Summary
Collect urine samples from patients, enter data into electronic requisition forms, and package specimens for laboratory analysis. Follow departmental policies to correctly identify patients, label and document all samples, and prepare them for shipment. Demonstrate customer service and compassion when interacting with patients, physicians, and clinic staff while adhering to Universal Precautions, OSHA standards, and HIPAA guidelines. Maintain open communication with supervisors regarding low volume shifts or procedural deviations and keep work areas clean with adequate supply inventory. Work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays, completing approximately 30.25 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be reliable
- Computer skills – must be able to work in multiple programs and windows, manage email and data entry
- Communicate clearly and concisely with accuracy, credibility and confidence
