Job Summary
Conduct hands-on personal care and mobility assistance for a senior client at Pioneer Senior Living, including wheelchair transfers, gait belt use, Barton chair operation, and total/bedbound care. Perform catheter care and lift clients over 50 lbs using a Hoyer lift, while maintaining comfort around and with pets. Provide reliable transportation to and from the assignment in Huntsville, adhering to a flexible, ongoing schedule between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM, Monday through Sunday. Maintain adaptability and strong communication skills while completing a background screening.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience OR an active CNA certification
- Reliable personal transportation
- Willingness to travel to Huntsville
- Comfortable working around and with pets
- Comfortable completing a background screening
- Must be available for an ongoing schedule
- Hands-on experience with mobility assistance and personal care
- Hoyer lift experience
- Comfortable with wheelchair transfers
- Comfortable with gait belt use
- Comfortable with Barton chair
- Comfortable with total/bedbound care
- Comfortable with catheter care
- Must be able to assist with mobility
- Must be able to provide personal care
