Job Summary
Senior Helpers Encino is seeking a male caregiver with dementia experience to provide in-home care in Encino, CA and the San Fernando Valley. Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, transportation, meal planning and preparation, and assistance with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and mobility. Document activities in the Care Plan Binder, track daily hours and services, and report changes to the office. Compensation is $18-$20 per hour with benefits including paid sick days, flexible hours, career advancement training, and caregiver appreciation activities.
Required Qualifications
- Must treat clients with dignity and respect
- must be able to read, write and speak English at an average adult level
- must be willing to submit to background check per California state law
- must obtain TB testing prior to engaging with clients
- must be able to drive and have a valid CA driver's license
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted
