Job Summary
Lead by example in Fairfax, VA by launching new cases, onboarding permanent caregivers to families, and modeling best-practice care techniques. Provide hands-on care (hygiene, mobility support, meals, housekeeping, errands, medication reminders), conduct home-safety assessments, perform quality-assurance visits, and document care plans for the Care Manager. Train and onboard caregivers through coaching and competency checks. Serve on the on-call rotation to triage caregiver call-outs, fill urgent shifts, and address client concerns after hours. Address changes in client condition, escalate issues, and keep families informed. Bring 1+ year of caregiving experience (HHA/CNA/home-health), First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain), coaching/communication skills, reliable transportation, and ability to lift/transfer clients. Proficient in documenting care notes in a mobile app or EMR. Demonstrates compassion, ethics, and composure under pressure. Eligible candidates should be ready to lead with heart and contribute to a supportive, growth-oriented team.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of professional caregiving, HHA, CNA, or home-health experience
- First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain—paid by employer)
- Proven ability to coach peers and communicate effectively with clients, families, and clinical staff
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift / transfer clients as needed
- Tech-savvy enough to document care notes in a mobile app or EMR
