Job Summary
Lead the Malcolm Broomhead Chair in Finance by driving excellence across a broad research agenda and elevating the visibility, impact, and cohesion of finance at UQ. Attract and develop high-performing academic talent while fostering a globally connected research culture. Strengthen industry and international partnerships, enhance high-quality teaching across undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education programs, and translate academic insight into real-world impact through meaningful collaborations with government and professional bodies. Contribute thoughtfully to governance and shape a collaborative, values-driven culture. Work closely with Faculty and School leadership to build strategic distinction in emerging areas.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline
- distinguished and sustained record of publishing in top-tier journals
