Job Summary
Part-time Makerspace Instructor to guide K-12 students in hands-on projects using 3D printing, laser printing, robotics and other makerspace technologies. Collaborates with Concorde Education's Curriculum Development Team to design and deliver lessons aligned with a custom-tailored curriculum, operates and maintains makerspace tools, engages students in individual and group projects, provides progress feedback, pursues ongoing professional development, ensures safety protocols are followed, and collaborates with school staff to integrate activities into the educational program.
Required Qualifications
- Experience teaching K-12
- Proficiency with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines or similar
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage and operate makerspace tools
- Certifications in 3D printing, laser cutting, or related technologies (asset)
