Job Summary
Makers Club Advisor role providing activity/club programs to develop cooperation, leadership, and direction for students; develops annual calendar, plans supervision of activities, and coordinates events; establishes dates, times, and places for events; collaborates with students to set goals and uses instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs; supervises fundraising projects, maintains financial records and budget, and follows district policies; promotes positive public relations and serves as a role model; requires collaboration with staff, students, and parents; responsibilities include arranging transportation for off-campus events and offering leadership and direction to students; must demonstrate effective teaching and a positive attitude; nine-month stipend position reporting to Building Principal; incumbent will be evaluated under the district policy; the position is governed by the CBA for compensation details and does not include stated salary information; must possess an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) and be able to supervise student activities and coordinate with administration and fund-raising policies.
