Job Summary
Apply makeup and prosthetics to actors while overseeing other artists and ensuring Wage & Hour compliance. Maintain an efficient flow of team members through the application process. Carry 5 to 10 pounds of weight and work in crowds, heat, and cold for up to two-hour intervals. Complete all required forms prior to any event. This short-term role supports a specific special event and period, requiring candidates with at least four years of professional makeup experience.
Required Qualifications
- at least four years of professional make-up experience
- be creative
- able to carry 5 to 10 pounds of weight
- be able to work in crowds, heat, and cold for up to two-hour intervals at one time
- Constantly standing, talking, climbing walking, reaching, using finger movement, grasping, feeling, speaking clearly, hearing conversation, using hearing acuity, seeing near far, stooping, bending, kneeling
- Working in extreme heat, sun, cold, wetness, humidity and temperature change
- Working in dark areas or small places
- Exposure to smoke effects
- Exposure to lighting effects
- All lifts over 51 lbs require help from a coworker or mechanical device
- Overtime of adults may be required from time to time to accommodate the business need
- I will complete all forms sent to me prior to any event
