Job Summary
Make-Ready Technician responsible for repairs and improvements to vacant apartment homes to achieve market-ready condition. Tasks include completing repairs per the make-ready checklist, caulking/sealing around windows, sinks, toilets, and showers; inspecting and repairing sheetrock; performing touch-up painting; maintaining grounds and common areas; and supporting cost-control by using materials efficiently. Must follow safety policies, complete required training (OSHA and safety-related laws), and process work orders with urgency. Role requires standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance; occasional travel to assist other properties; and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Benefits and compensation include an hourly range of $15.50-$18.50, potential bonuses, and extensive benefits for full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in maintenance or skilled trades in property management or residential settings is a plus
- Ability to perform physical labor (lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to read and follow make-ready checklists and safety procedures
