Job Summary
Prepare vacant apartments for new residents through painting, cleaning, and make-ready work. Complete routine maintenance requests and basic repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general upkeep. Keep the property clean by removing debris and maintaining common areas, offices, and amenities. Monitor inventory, restock supplies, document completed tasks, and report safety hazards to the maintenance team. Collaborate with property managers and supervisors while working independently on-site at Lumeo at Tryon Park.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- At least one year of maintenance, construction, facilities, landscaping, or related experience
- Basic knowledge of one or more of the following: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or general maintenance
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
- Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Frequent walking, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Using hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment
- Remaining on your feet for extended periods throughout the day
