Job Summary
Complete apartment turnover work including painting, surface repairs, fixture replacement, appliance testing, HVAC filter changes, flooring touch-ups, and general cleaning to ensure units meet company quality and safety standards. Collaborate with Maintenance and Property Management teams to support ongoing repairs, preventative maintenance, and property upkeep while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Interact professionally with residents and team members throughout the community. This onsite role in Summerbrooke/Kemah, TX requires full-time attendance Monday through Friday with occasional weekend on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or make-ready/turnover work
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to safely use tools and equipment with manual dexterity and stamina, including lifting up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must maintain a personal tool kit appropriate for completing assigned work
- Valid driver's license required to operate company-owned or personal vehicles for business purposes
- Occasional off-site travel to pick up supplies
