Job Summary
Perform general painting, sheetrock, and carpentry repairs while checking, repairing, or replacing plumbing, electric, appliances, HVAC, and window coverings. Conduct preventative maintenance and perform general cleaning, trash removal, and grounds repairs onsite to refurbish residences prior to occupancy. Work in varied weather conditions, climbing ladders and lifting up to 100 pounds as needed. Available for on-call emergency response.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to provide and use hand tools and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with residents and vendors
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces
- Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds at a time
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience preferred
- Pool certification preferred
- EPA certification preferred
- HVAC certification preferred
- Fair Housing Training preferred
