Job Summary
Make Ready Technician supports on-site maintenance for Sandalwood-managed apartments by preparing vacant units for move-ins to company standards, performing make-ready tasks (carpet/flooring replacement, painting, lighting, appliance servicing), rekeying locks and addressing basic plumbing/electrical repairs, cleaning units thoroughly, inspecting for damages, and maintaining property appearance. Must work with maintenance team, contractors, and vendors; requires 1+ year multifamily experience, ability to work on call, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass a background check and drug test. Compensation negotiable with renewal commissions/bonuses; benefits include rent discounts, medical/dental/vision, company-paid life insurance, and 401(k). Locations include Austin, TX and Spicewood Springs (Austin, TX).
