Job Summary
Inspect vacated apartments, complete make-ready checklists, and coordinate repairs with Lead Maintenance and Community Managers. Restore units for new move-ins by checking and replacing lights, windows, screens, baseboards, mirrors, and closets; repairing or replacing faucets, sinks, and A/C filters; installing ceramic tile backsplashes; and performing exterior repairs. Change A/C filters, operate carpet cleaning equipment, assist with trash-outs, and handle painting, curtain, and plaster repairs as directed. Make keys when necessary and ensure all work adheres to company policies and safety standards. Available for on-call rotations, extended hours, and weekends. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of full-time related experience
- Willingness to perform all required tasks
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrate knowledge of work safety habits
- Ability to professionally represent the company
- Maintain a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation
- Able to work on call (as necessary and/or an emergency arises) and extended hours (including after-hours and weekends)
- Attention to detail - meticulous
- Ability to organize & prioritize work
- Social skills to interact with residents
- Self-motivated; ability to work individually and on a team
