Job Summary
Support the Maintenance Supervisor with daily work orders, unit turns, preventative maintenance, and any other duties assigned by Management staff. Perform repair work on appliances, electrical systems, plumbing systems, carpentry, and painting/sheetrock using your own tools, while adhering to the established dress code and safety procedures. Prospective candidates must be available for emergency on-call rotation as required. This role requires at least three years of maintenance experience specifically within an apartment community and includes excellent organization and customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- maintenance knowledge in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, appliance, electrical, and other typical apartment repairs
- At least three (3) years previous maintenance experience
- Experience in an apartment community
- Excellent organization and customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and prioritize workloads
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- good diagnostic skills
- ability to perform repair work on the following: appliances, electrical systems, plumbing systems, carpentry, and painting/sheetrock
- own tools
- valid driver's license
