Job Summary
Inspect vacant units for repairs and replace fixtures, appliances, and hardware to ensure they meet quality standards before leasing. Conduct routine maintenance tasks like fixing leaks and unclogging drains, while performing preventive maintenance on equipment and assisting with emergency repairs. Maintain property curb appeal through pressure washing, painting, and landscaping, ensuring common areas remain clean, safe, and functional. Interact with residents professionally to address maintenance requests promptly and report safety hazards to the Property Manager. Requires proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, plus ability to lift 50 pounds and use hand tools. Full-time role with potential weekends, holidays, and on-call availability for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in a multi-family residential setting
- Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
