Job Summary
Maintenance Staff role to assist with daily operations and upkeep of the property, performing hands-on maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and building structures; help coordinate preventative maintenance, respond to resident service requests, and ensure apartments are move-in ready; maintain maintenance logs and documentation using maintenance management systems; ensure safety procedures and building codes compliance; participate in preventative maintenance scheduling and unit turns; requires valid driver’s license, ability to stand and move around the property for extended periods, and capacity to lift up to 50 pounds; on-site full-time position with potential on-call rotation and occasional travel to nearby communities; on-site work at Bedford, TX location; sponsorship of U.S. work visas is not provided.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of general building maintenance
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and move throughout the property for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights
- Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Excellent communication, and teamwork skills
- Experience using maintenance management software is a plus
