Job Summary
Make Ready Technician responsible for inspecting vacated apartments and restoring them to market-ready condition. Duties include performing repairs and replacements on structural components and fixtures (windows, latches, screens, doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, closets), checking and servicing appliances, making new keys, handling painting tasks, repairing fixtures, cleaning and carpet care, installing or replacing locks, and assisting with trash-out and grounds maintenance. Requires operating cleaning equipment, moving/lifting tasks, and adherence to safety protocols with back support belt, gloves, and proper footwear. Works under the Community Manager and Service Supervisor to ensure timely readiness of units; involves physical activity (standing, climbing stairs, bending, reaching) and occasional weekend work.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet all physical requirements
- Able to take direction
- Wear back support belt and gloves as tasks dictate
- Wear appropriate shoes (no flat bottom sneakers)
- 40 hours per week (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; may require weekends)
