Job Summary
Make Ready responsible for inspecting vacated apartments and performing make-ready to restore units to market-ready status. Perform repairs and replacements (windows, appliances, fixtures, baseboards, mirrors, doors, tile backsplash, A/C filters), install tile backsplash, assist with painting, carpet cleaning, trash-out support, and other projects as directed. Maintain quality and safety standards, communicate with Lead Maintenance and Community Manager, and be able to work on-call and flexible hours including weekends. Requires English proficiency (Spanish a plus), one year of related full-time experience, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of full-time related experience
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively interact with team members, residents, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Demonstrate knowledge of work safety habits
- Ability to professionally represent the company
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
- Able to work on call (as necessary and/or an emergency arises) and extended hours (including after-hours and weekends)
- Attention to detail - meticulous
- Ability to organize & prioritize work
- Social skills to interact with residents
- Self-motivated; ability to work individually and on a team
