Job Summary
Inspect vacant units and complete the make-ready checklist by performing repairs, painting, and cleaning coordination. Execute basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and appliance fixes, including replacing light fixtures, outlets, switches, blinds, and hardware. Patch, texture, and paint walls while checking for leaks, safety hazards, and code compliance issues. Complete all assigned work orders timely and report major maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager. This role sits within our residential property management team, focusing on ensuring every unit is safe, clean, and move-in ready for new residents.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of apartment maintenance or related experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and general repair
- Experience with apartment maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, and appliance repairs is preferred
