Job Summary
Release Management Business Analyst responsible for coordinating functional and technical release activities across multiple teams, configuring Jira dashboards and reporting, supporting backlog refinement and release planning, coordinating schedules and readiness, monitoring milestones/risks/dependencies, and delivering status updates to program leadership. Drives communication between technical teams and stakeholders, owns weekly/monthly reporting, and develops release documentation and process guidance while supporting process improvement initiatives in a federal, security-conscious environment. Requires strong written/verbal communication, stakeholder engagement, and ability to operate across cross-functional teams in a hybrid Arlington, VA setting.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Minimum of 3–5 years experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Minimum of 0–2 years experience with Atlassian Jira
- Minimum of 0–2 years experience in client-facing communication and stakeholder engagement
- Experience coordinating project activities, software releases, or delivery milestones across multiple stakeholders
- Experience developing executive-level reports, status updates, or performance metrics for stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate activities across cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working in a client-facing role
