Job Summary
Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship for a team of Behavioral Health Therists serving unaccompanied minors in the Big Bend region of Texas. Conduct behavioral health assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning while monitoring documentation to ensure quality and compliance. Foster a culture of clinical excellence through onboarding, coaching, and professional development of staff. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care and support program implementation. Maintain a limited clinical caseload while advocating for the safety and successful outcomes of every child served. This full-time, onsite leadership position requires U.S. citizenship and an active independent clinical license.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
- Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in any U.S. state or U.S. territory (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or equivalent)
- Minimum of five years of post-independent licensure clinical experience
- Minimum of two years of leadership, supervisory, or clinical management experience
- Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or other vulnerable populations
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, behavioral health best practices, and clinical supervision
- Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work onsite in the Big Bend region of Texas
- U.S. Citizen
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with unaccompanied minors, foster care, refugee populations, residential treatment, or child welfare
- Experience leading multidisciplinary behavioral health teams
- Experience in crisis response or high-acuity behavioral health settings
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience supporting federal or government-funded behavioral health programs
