Job Summary
Provide trauma-informed individual counseling and crisis intervention services to unaccompanied minors in a residential care setting in El Centro, California. Conduct behavioral health assessments, develop treatment recommendations, and collaborate with physicians and case managers to deliver exceptional care. Maintain clinical documentation, advocate for the safety and well-being of every child, and help clients build resilience and healthy coping skills. This full-time, onsite position requires U.S. citizenship and an active independent clinical license. Candidates must have at least two years of post-independent licensure experience working with vulnerable populations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
- Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in any U.S. state or U.S. territory (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years of post-independent licensure experience
- Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or other vulnerable populations
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work onsite in El Centro, California
- U.S. Citizen
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with unaccompanied minors, foster care, refugee populations, residential treatment, or child welfare
- Experience in crisis response or high-acuity behavioral health settings
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
