Job Summary
Provide trauma-informed individual counseling and crisis intervention services to unaccompanied minors in a residential care setting. Conduct behavioral health assessments, develop treatment recommendations, and maintain clinical documentation while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Help children build resilience, confidence, and healthy coping skills while advocating for their safety and well-being. This full-time, onsite position in El Centro, California requires U.S. citizenship and an active independent clinical license. Candidates must have at least two years of post-licensure experience working with vulnerable populations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
- Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in any U.S. state or U.S. territory (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years of post-independent licensure experience
- Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or other vulnerable populations
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work onsite in El Centro, California
- U.S. Citizen
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with unaccompanied minors, foster care, refugee populations, residential treatment, or child welfare
- Experience in crisis response or high-acuity behavioral health settings
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
