Job Summary

Provide trauma-informed individual counseling and crisis intervention services to unaccompanied minors in a residential care setting. Conduct behavioral health assessments, develop treatment recommendations, and collaborate with physicians and case managers to deliver exceptional care. Maintain clinical documentation, advocate for child safety, and help youth build resilience and healthy coping skills. This full-time, onsite position in El Centro, California requires U.S. citizenship and an active independent clinical license with two years of post-licensure experience. Candidates must be trauma-informed and experienced with vulnerable populations, with bilingual Spanish skills preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
  • Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in any U.S. state or U.S. territory (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of two years of post-independent licensure experience
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or other vulnerable populations
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work onsite in El Centro, California
  • U.S. Citizen

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with unaccompanied minors, foster care, refugee populations, residential treatment, or child welfare
  • Experience in crisis response or high-acuity behavioral health settings
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
