Job Summary

Provide trauma-informed individual counseling and crisis intervention services to unaccompanied minors in a residential care setting. Conduct behavioral health assessments, develop treatment recommendations, and maintain clinical documentation while collaborating with physicians and case managers. Help children build resilience and healthy coping skills within a multidisciplinary team supporting a federal program. Requires a master's degree, active independent clinical license, two years post-licensure experience, and U.S. citizenship. Full-time onsite position in El Centro, California, with opportunities for bilingual clinicians and California licensure assistance.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
  • Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in any U.S. state or U.S. territory (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of two years of post-independent licensure experience
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or other vulnerable populations
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work onsite in El Centro, California
  • U.S. Citizen

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with unaccompanied minors, foster care, refugee populations, residential treatment, or child welfare
  • Experience in crisis response or high-acuity behavioral health settings
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
