Job Summary
Design, develop, and enhance Appian applications, process models, and reports supporting federal operations while optimizing performance and implementing RESTful API integrations. Complete development of an existing MVP and deliver custom requirements by collaborating with functional teams through daily stand-ups and technical coordination. Troubleshoot development issues, maintain documentation, and recommend scalable architecture aligned with security and operational standards. Full-time role requiring U.S. citizenship and active Secret Clearance.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Secret Clearance
- Minimum of 10+ years experience with software development
- Minimum of 7-10 years experience with Appian process automation
- Minimum of 10+ years experience with API integration
- Expertise in developing custom Appian applications, process models, interfaces, and integrations
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise workflow automation or case management applications
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, and data modeling concepts
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate closely with functional teams
- Ability to work effectively in Agile delivery environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal government programs or secure environments
- Experience developing enterprise workflow automation, case management, or business process applications using Appian
- Experience integrating Appian with REST APIs, web services, or enterprise platforms
- Experience working with Appian Records, Interfaces, Process Models, and Expression Rules
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable Appian solutions
