Job Summary
Independent Licensed Mental Health Clinicians contract to deliver trauma-focused mental health care to federal wildland firefighters and dispatchers across 17 states, with a hybrid delivery model that combines telehealth and on-site engagement. Responsibilities include individual and group therapy for PTSD, complex trauma, compassion fatigue, and substance use; proactive and reactive crisis intervention; comprehensive diagnostic assessments; development of evidence-based treatment plans; and the application of trauma-focused modalities such as EMDR, CPT, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. Requires advanced degree and current independent licensure; offers clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and competitive hourly rates within a nationwide program.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in a mental health discipline
- Current, Independent Licensure in the state of practice (Non-negotiable)
