Job Summary
Lead Facilities/Maintenance for YMCA Honolulu during the May–August 2026 season. Oversee janitorial, maintenance, and grounds needs; supervise facilities staff; coordinate with departments on ongoing needs and projects; prepare and maintain Short Term Rental Cabins for guest check-ins; conduct routine inspections and basic repairs of buildings, cabins, and camp infrastructure; ensure safety, proper storage of tools and hazardous materials, and compliance with applicable regulations; support youth safety policies and abuse-prevention training; contribute to daily operations including trash disposal, storage management, and maintaining safe outdoor spaces; maintain clear communication with supervisor and stakeholders to ensure a healthy environment for staff and members.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in general maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture preferred.
