Director of Membership at the YMCA Honolulu leads membership operations, sales, engagement, retention, and customer service initiatives for the branch, overseeing the Welcome Center, membership staff, member communications, volunteer engagement, and membership growth strategies. Responsibilities include developing and executing membership growth, retention, and engagement plans; monitoring trends and performance; conducting tours and driving membership sales; managing corporate memberships and community partnerships; coordinating member appreciation events; ensuring prompt, professional customer service; collaborating with program departments for onboarding; supporting branch marketing and outreach; recruiting and developing staff and volunteers; managing budgets and reporting on membership analytics; participating in fundraising and donor relationships; and ensuring compliance with safety and abuse reporting requirements. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree (preferred), at least 5 years of leadership experience in related fields, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, and TB clearance.
