Job Summary
Assemble, check, and prepare surgical equipment, instruments, and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures. Deliver safe quality care for patients during their perioperative phase and support the management and organisation of care within the Operating Department. Contribute to quality improvement, develop skills, and apply best evidence-based practice while adhering to legislation, policies, and the Health and Safety at Work Act. Maintain CHG behaviours and adapt to flexible shift patterns at Spire Bristol Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- An active NMC or HCPC registration
- Valid DBS on Update Service
- Proven experience in Major Orthopaedic Scrub, particularly in Lower Limb surgeries (Hips + Knees)
- Familiarity with a variety of surgical procedures and techniques
- Ability to adapt to different shift patterns
