Job Summary
Major Incident Manager (Remote) leads configuration, debugging, and support for IT solutions, oversees field and corporate rollouts, and drives incident lifecycle from planning to post-mortem across enterprise programs. Responsibilities include delivering infrastructure as code for rapid deployment, developing test suites, and coordinating with product/project teams to ensure operational stability. The role also serves as Program Manager for Enterprise Problem SME efforts, tracks Major Incident Problem Records, supports security incident response, and mentors junior engineers. Requires ITIL knowledge, incident/Problem Management experience, and proficiency with collaboration and analytics tools; bachelor’s degree or equivalent and US work eligibility are required. The role is fully remote with extensive cross-site coordination and travel not required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field
- Legal permission to work in the United States
- 3-5 years of Incident Manager experience (preferred)
- Deep understanding of ITIL and problem-record management
- Proficiency with monitoring and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Slack, PagerDuty, Tableau)
- Experience with infrastructure as code and cross-functional coordination
- Ability to mentor junior staff
- Strong communication and leadership competencies
