Job Summary
Major Incident Manager, AVP leads enterprise-wide incident strategy and governance to ensure production stability and rapid service restoration. Responsible for 24/7 technical bridge operations, proactive health checks, and end-to-end event management with structured governance for weekend deployments. Establish ITSM best practices, drive cross-functional collaboration across application, infrastructure, and security domains, and communicate effectively with senior leadership to minimize business impact and safeguard service integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- ITIL Certification (Intermediate or Expert level) strongly recommended
- 5+ years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) with focus on Major Incident Management and Command Centre operations
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale, high-pressure IT environments with global reach
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Remedy
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for executive-level engagement
- Availability for weekend and on-call coverage as part of operational governance
