Job Summary
Raise funds through major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations for a designated geographical area of a Salvation Army Division. Aggressively develop and nurture current and prospective donors while responding to inquiries and communicating with donor advisory organization members, Salvation Army staff, and Officers. Design, revise, and implement a giving plan for every donor in your portfolio to reach an annual production goal. Travel often throughout the Western Oklahoma territory, including up to 60% of work time for overnight trips, to meet with donors and professionals in the community. Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in CRM systems such as Salesforce or DonorPerfect.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Three years' experience performing related fundraising, marketing and/or sales work
- Major gift fund-raising experience preferred
- Valid State Driver's License
- Active Christian faith in harmony with Salvation Army doctrine and practice
- Ability to agree that they will do nothing as an employee of The Salvation Army to undermine its religious mission
- Ability to lift objects weighing between 25-50 lbs
- Ability to travel throughout the Division, by automobile, on a regular basis
- Travel requirements up to 60% of work time
- Ideal candidate to reside in OKC or Western Oklahoma
Desired Qualifications
- Major gift fund-raising experience
- CFRE or ACFRE
- Bachelor's degree preferably in a related field of study
