Job Summary
Develop and manage a comprehensive strategic effort to build a base of individual donors and cultivate major gift prospects. Create written master plans and calendars for fundraising campaigns, then aggressively seek and qualify new donors while nurturing existing relationships. Prepare creative communications materials and submit quarterly reports detailing progress against program goals. Utilize Raiser's Edge to track donor data, conduct data mining, and evaluate the effectiveness of long-term and short-term giving programs. Represent the hospital to the community through public speaking, board activities, and volunteer support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of fundraising experience
- Practical knowledge of major gift operations
- Understanding of what it takes to expand donor participation
- Knowledge of Raiser's Edge and other Blackbaud programs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows
- Knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of Word
- Knowledge of Power Point
- Ability to clearly articulate the mission of Dolly Children's
