Job Summary

Cultivate, steward, and grow mid-level donor and sustainer programs by conducting targeted cultivation, providing concierge stewardship, and managing pipeline movement to raise annual growth by 25%. Leverage DonorSearch for real-time wealth screening and predictive prospecting to identify high-capacity donors, while executing automated email journeys and data-driven campaigns to drive recurring giving and mitigate churn. Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene in EveryAction, optimize annual fund appeals, and transition qualified leads to the Senior Director of Individual Giving. Work Monday through Friday in the Washington, D.C. metro area with hybrid arrangements, reporting to the Senior Director of Individual Giving.

Required Qualifications

  • 8-10 years experience in major gift leadership, with a proven track record of success
  • Ability to hit the ground running: work effectively as a team member and independently
  • Tool Expertise: Mastery of EveryAction and DonorSearch to build and manage prospect lists
  • Strategic Prospecting: Experience using wealth screening to inform cultivation and solicitation strategies
  • Persuasive Communicator: Ability to write compelling, 'donor-centric' copy that triggers immediate action
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using data to pivot strategies and prove ROI
  • Must be able to work effectively as a team member and independently
  • Must have Mastery of EveryAction and DonorSearch to build and manage prospect lists
  • Must have Experience using wealth screening to inform cultivation and solicitation strategies
  • Must have Ability to write compelling, 'donor-centric' copy that triggers immediate action
  • Must be Comfortable using data to pivot strategies and prove ROI
  • Must be able to work long hours when needed
  • Must be able to travel to events such as staff retreats and other work meetings approximately one to four times per year
  • Must be able to work occasional evening and weekend hours
  • Must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities of their positions
