Job Summary
Inspire and generate $2M+ in annual major gift support by personally stewarding a portfolio of 100–200 major donors contributing $10,000+. Build deep, trust-based relationships that help donors feel known, valued, and connected through compelling opportunities including annual, multi-year, legacy, and asset-based giving. Present powerful stories of impact that demonstrate how generosity transforms lives while identifying and cultivating new major donor prospects aligned with the mission. Design personalized engagement strategies for each donor and represent Mercy Chefs with passion, professionalism, and integrity. Travel up to 50% to meet donors in their communities and witness the mission firsthand, working closely with a collaborative Development team leveraging best-in-class fundraising practices and CRM tools.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of fundraising or development experience
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious goals
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Experience managing donor portfolios and CRM systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A high degree of professionalism and discretion
- Comfort engaging in faith-based conversations when appropriate
- A heart aligned with Mercy Chefs' Christian mission and values
- Self-motivated
